Battery Desulfation - What is it?
Basically all lead acid batteries deteriorate from the day they leave the factory as they simply sit around and this is then compounded by most of them then being subject to regimes of use and re-charging which is a long way from the ideal process. Lead builds up on the plates and the electrolyte dries out both leading to a steady decrease in battery performance.
It is possible to recover a significant percentage of a batteries lost performance using one of our award winning devices but some simple rules must be followed.
The No.1 rule is to replenish any missing electrolyte otherwise recovery will only be partial. Very few 'sealed' batteries are actually sealed and it is possible to top up the battery with distilled water.
